    NCB Hyderabad Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) centre is organizing various training courses to meet the needs of professionals from cement, concrete & construction industry. The centre has well established training complex with excellent infrastructure of class rooms of capacities up to 100 seating capacity with video conferencing &wifi facilities. A hostel block attached to the training complex is also available for providing residential facility to participants.

    The centre is organizing various short term courses, contact training and special training programmes related to cement, concrete and construction areas.

    Courses Offered

      Short-Term Courses:

      These are comprise of refresher courses of duration varying from two to five days covering the entire spectrum of cement, concrete, allied building materials and construction technology.

      Special Group Training Programmes (On-site / in-house)

      These are customized training programmes on various aspects of cement, concrete, construction and related areas for a group of persons from a single organization for selected durations. Technical visits and hands-on-experience forms part of course curriculum.

      Contact Training Programmes

      Designed to suit the specific requirements of individual participants in the areas of physical/chemical/mineralogical testing of cement and concrete including calibration laboratory equipment. These programmes imparts practical laboratory training to the participants, enabling them to acquire mastery in the relevant technique/method of analysis.

      LIBRARY

      NCB’s learning resource centre has an impressive collection of the latest books/data bank and information services in print as well as in electronic media. It has also a computer based referencing facility, electronic information products (CD-ROM) and on-line access to international data base. The integrated bibliographic database consisting of about 2,800 records for interactive searches is being constantly updated.

       

      LAB DEMONSTRATION / HANDS-ON PRACTICES

       

      NCB’s laboratories are equipped with most modern and state-of-the-art equipment for providing complete range of evaluation and testing facilities both for cement and concrete industries. The participants are familiarized with the latest equipments and testing techniques during demonstration/ hands-on practice sessions.

       

      TRAINING METHODOLOGY & ENVIRONMENT

      The training techniques include lectures, group discussions, case studies, field visits, audio-visual, presentations, educational films, experience sharing, laboratory practical sessions, demonstration and hands-on training. Two-way interaction between the faculty and participants is encouraged.
