NCB Geopolymer concrete interlocking paver blocks. Centre for Construction Development and Research (CDR) of NCB, has developed its own chemical activator for making alkali activated concrete interlocking paver blocks. The blocks are developed using ground granulated blast furnace slag and fly ash. 3x3m trial pavement stretch laid using Geopolymer concrete paver blocks was inaugurated by Shri Anil Aggarwal, Joint Secretary (DIPP) at NCB Campus on 8 August 2018 in the presence of Shri Ashutosh Saxena, Director General and Scientists of NCB.
