NCB granted patent on process of preparation of Cement and fly ash based aesthetic building bricks and decorative tiles utilizing marble dust: Around 6 million tonnes of marble slurry and dust is generated from cutting, grinding and polishing of marble processing industry particularly in the country. NCB has developed a technology for utilization of marble dust in preparation of alternate building products such as building bricks, decorative tiles etc. Patent has been granted for the above mentioned technology with the Patent No. 289766 titled Cement and fly ash based aesthetic building bricks utilizing marble dust and a process for preparation thereof and Patent No. 288839 titled Decorative tiles utilizing marble dust and a process for preparation thereof.
