NCB Proficiency Testing Scheme
NCB is the apex body providing R&D and technical services in cement and allied building materials. In 2013, Interlaboratory Services (ILS) of NCB was granted NABL accreditation as per ISO 17043:2010 for providing PT services on cement and fly ash. The present scope of accreditation covers: clinker; cement; limestone; fly ash; coal/coke; granulated slag and water for concrete in chemical field. In mechanical field, the scope covers cement; fly ash and aggregate. NABL reassessment in February 2017 has recommended enhancement of scope by including concrete admixture in chemical and mortar/concrete cube, tile (ceramic), burnt clay building brick and steel bar in mechanical field.
NCB has launched three new PT schemes in mechanical field – burnt clay building brick, mortar cube & concrete cube and one scheme on chemical analysis of fly ash.
Patrons are requested to mail their concern for participation by mailing concern form (Form 1) attached with protocol of PT scheme.
